Let Us Live in His Eternal Life

This world can lay so much pressure upon people, upon us. This is Satan's allure to get us to work and work, and be under pressure and die.

And though shocking, the "church" today can do the same. What a travesty!

God has given His Son to us all, believers and unbelievers. First the death of His Son, giving His life in our place to pay the eternal sin debt for all sins!! Not just for believers, but for all of the sins of the World. That is really great news, but that alone does not save. Yet it gets better!

1 John 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. God has been fully satisfied, propitiated by the death of His Son in our place for our sin debt.

But, to be saved, we need life from the dead and the Spirit of that life has been poured out on all flesh! And the Spirit is working to convict the world of the sin of unbelief (John 16:9), and we are to go out and show people what a life of surrender into His life is like!--rest and peace, love and joy. Not needing any longer to work ourselves to death, or stress in the frenzy of Satan's performance call which is upon all who live in the world. Eternal life is God's life and all of us in this life can live free of the rat wheel call of the world's ways!

This is the Good News message to give and to live, that others would heed the call to join us in being born again by the Spirit of God. This is the message of the New Covenant! This is what we are to ring out, vs. ringing church bells. How great is the life of God that is allowed to blossom in the souls and hearts of men and women!

It is about Jesus plus nothing! He is our life, and let us be content with basic food and shelter. Yes, we work our jobs, and with purpose, yet unto the Lord first!

I for one have stepped out of the Church rat race and learning to be free of the world's rat race too. Weird, but once I walked really in faith in the New Covenant truths. I have been able to step away from Old Covenant applications that most pastors seem to want to lay upon me. I don't fight them. I just don't live there, even if they try to get me "back there." Why go back to an old Covenant that never worked. We could not nor can ever do anything "from the flesh" so why try to go back there when we now have a newness of life in Him?

I would encourage you all to dwell in the new life, the miracle of being one in Christ, who is our life. To partake of the Divine nature that is now YOUR NATURE. Ponder this, as born again believers, new Creatures in Christ, our natural response is to not sin! Are you living
 
out of the new nature, or still trying to be good in the old nature that was and has been crucified with Christ? See Galatians 2:20.

If anyone is interested in knowing more about what we are in Christ, there are a few good books about this. Yet, these books are simply encouragements to live by faith in who we ARE as declared by God in the New Testament letters.

Truth: Life is lived from who you are!! Who you ARE is what God now says you are. Not what a pastors says, or your own thoughts or feelings or emotions. No, what God has said and declared about you in the New Covenant Epistles (Most written by Paul), is your new, true, real reality. But you have to live in them by faith, believing God and not others nor your "feelings." We can miss out on this abundant life by having a heart of unbelief. I lived this way for 13 years of my 15 years as a born-again believer. We have a promised life, just like the children of Israel had a Promised Land. God has given us this promised life already, just like He had given the Israelites the Promised Land. But it is taken and appropriated by faith, which is to believe it as more true than anything else in your life and then to live in it as true. This sounds "magical," but better to use the words "miraculous" and "supernatural!" And it is. Have you chosen to live in who you are, as God say you are?

I can tell you this. When you by faith, choose to live in who you ARE now in all you are in Christ, You will be more and more set free! It is a supernatural life we have--a miracle above all miracles.

The Just shall live by Faith
Col 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.
Col 2:7 Rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it (faith) with thanksgiving.
Col 2:8 Beware lest any man cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
Col 2:9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
Col 2:10 And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?
Gal 3:2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Gal 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?
Gal 3:4 Have you suffered so many things in vain-if indeed it was in vain?
Gal 3:5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Glorifying God the Most

I glorify God the most when:

I live as I really am: a created person, who needs to CAST ALL on Him every moment of every day. Totally needy, humbled, dependent and thus trusting in God for everything in my life:
My next breath, My next heart beat, My next meal, My next Sale, my drive to church today.
And back home, the restoration of my marriage, the Heart of Love that I need in me to love others more than myself, the cry for the salvation of my children and the rest of my family.
The World will call this weakness. God calls it true sanity!! We fool ourselves in living in the way of culture: that we can lift ourselves up by our own bootstraps. This is as foolhardy as thinking that I "borned myself'! Who created themselves? No one. Everyone came from parents, whose ultimate lineage leads back to Adam and Eve, and God created them. He created them totally dependent on Him. Why, because they are created beings, not "gods". All created beings by nature are dependent creatures. We start out totally dependent on our parents. Then we grow and go to work, depending on ourselves?? No, just grown up to live in direct dependency now on our ABBA FATHER!!
Jesus came as a man, not only to die for our sins (The Main Thing), but also to model, to show us the life of a true man!! To be totally dependent on the Father, His Father and now our Father!!
Heb.20:17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' "
Being One in Christ, brings us completely into the dependency relationship with the Father that Jesus had when He walked this earth in frail flesh. This is the greatest point of attack we get from Satan and his minions. "Do this, do that, Make your security in this part of the world and that stash. Don't pray, go out and do!! You have to sell more, stress more, forget the Sabbath rest we have in Jesus, God wants you to use your "god given abilities" to build your house and get more stuff, and have more money and on and on and on." All lies from the enemy and lies that our flesh is lured to clutch to for its security!

Our battle is to surrender ourselves daily into total dependency on God, as we then move in life to walk, move and live in Him. It doesn't mean to be lazy. It actually means to work hard, but not in stress or worry that I have to "DO IT". I can "DO IT", all things through Christ who strengthens me, as I walk/live in the One who does strengthen me .
The mystery of walking / Living by Faith, is for it to work, You have to "DO IT!!!" that is Live by Faith!! Meaning: When events come that seem to terrify and knock you down. That seem to be impossible. We have to First, abide in the Living Word, which is the heart and essence of Jesus in our souls, and then Listen to the Word, and hear His intimate Word just for our hearts in these situations.

Our flesh and Satan and the world will scream at us to look at the situation, and to somehow, some way connive a way by our abilities to conquer it. Or the world, Satan, and the culture will lure us to "Happy Hour" to ignore the situation in alcohol or sex or destructive adrenaline habits or psychotropic drugs and the drug of TV, People magazine, and movies. When we settle down, and abide in Jesus and listen for His voice, a warning from Scripture should be imbedded in our heart of hearts:

Heb 4:7 again He designates a certain day, saying in David, "TODAY," after such a long time, as it has been said: "TODAY, IF YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS." Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. Heb 4:9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. Heb 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God from His. Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of
 
disobedience. Our first fleshly reaction to hearing His voice will be to not follow it with abandoned love and trust in God. No, we will look at the situation and deem it hopeless!! And indeed it will be, in our strength!! We are constantly being deceived by our own nature of pride and by the enemy that we have to "DO IT" ourselves!!

The Hebrews grumbled about going into the Promised Land because of the Giants they saw. They did not see God as THE GIANT OF GIANTS by faith, but lived by sight and saw giants that they knew they could not conquer, but then did not trust that GOD could conquer them. In essence they said: GOD, you are not GOD, but a god. YOU are not ALL POWERFUL and YOU do not keep your word, so WE WON'T GO!!
And we do the same. We fret, we complain, we worry, we fry our brains, we have pity parties, we call on others to help us, we stress out, we get alcohol, or fall into sex or pornography or activities or psychotropic drugs, TV Programs and all because we do not want to let go of our pride, and say, ABBA FATHER, I cannot make it through this, I have to rest in You and not be in "my works" anymore. Therefore, GOD, I lay it down upon Your mighty shoulders and I trust that YOU are indeed the GOD of GODs and the LORD of LORDs, that Your Word says YOU ARE. I will surrender this and live by faith, totally trusting that Your Word is true and that You will bring me through this situation. I will move and live by faith to now live and pursue the correct actions I need to do, in your leading by YOUR SPIRIT. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN

Remember, it is not about us. It is about what Jesus was made unto us in His coming here, living here, dying for us here and now living in us here, in His Spirit that dwells in us. Our fight is to not live in me, but to live in Him--a dying to living. May the Grace of God, imprint into our Hearts more and more that it is HE that is OUR LIFE and not ourselves!!
I Cor 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise' men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many
noble are called.
I Cor 1:27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
I Cor 1::28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are:
ICor 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
I Cor 1:29 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
I Cor 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

This Psalm is fast becoming my life verse. It sounds depressing at first. Yet in all the problems and stresses that have come and still do come upon me, I have realized it is OK to be a dead man and to be a broken vessel!! I have learned that indeed, all this world is pretty much against me, But, But, But I have trusted in thee 0 LORD: and I have said in my heart and now am learning to unashamedly to Declare to All: Thou are my God, My Times are in-Thy hands, and no longer in mine, and no longer in the world's, or this cultures, or in Satan's hands!!!
Psa 31:12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
Psa :l1:1:l For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
Psa :l1:14 But I trusted in thee, 0 LORD: I said, Thou art my God.
Psa 31:15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Psa :31:16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
May all who read this be blessed by God being their God!! If you are saved, then He is your God!! Put your times into His hands and I stand as your friend in Christ, to tell You that His Love will pour as a torrential rain of mercy upon your heart from heaven's gate. He honors us as we honor Him and lift Him higher and higher above All in our lives. He will lift us up and exalt us in ways that are only to be described as Amazing!!
 
Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
I Pet 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: I Pet 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "AND WAS
NOT FOUND, BECAUSE GOD HAD TAKEN HIM," for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

Have you been "taken by God?" When we die into God, surrender our selves, in denial of self, in the recognition that we indeed cannot Do anything apart from Jesus, in this death of self on our cross, we are "taken by God"!! We become "No more" for God becomes our all in all!! We don't care anymore what happens to us in the situations that come upon us. We don't care if the world accounts us as dead, duck lambs, led to the slaughter, in our apparent "weakness" of total trust in God, Nay, we stand, we live, we REJOICE in that we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Jesus, through God, in the Holy Spirit that LOVE US!!! Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

We are to be Enochs, yet we will still be here!! We will be "no more" because we now have fought the fight of Faith to be IN HIM. We stand, not in ourselves, but in Him who so Loved us in giving us His Son Jesus, that we just decide to love Him back in total surrender and trust. And we live not to win anymore like the culture, the world, the Devil and our flesh beckons us to do. We have won already, everything we ever needed and will ever need, that day in the past when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord!!
Rom 5:17 For by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Let us remember our calling. He did not call out many mighty or noble or strong or powerful or competent! They do not hear His call. We did. We are HIS CHILDREN. WE ARE THE BRIDE OF CHIRST!! When the things of the world pass away, that all the world scrambles for and fought for and stressed for and even caused us to fret for seasons
We will have inherited the Earth. We will be ruling and reigning with Him forever!!
And guess what! We can rule and reign in live in Him, even now, If we continue in theh, the confidence of His Word, His life, His presence and His power that is there for us, in the death of self, and the casting all on Him moment by moment!!
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with My Father in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set
down with my Father in his throne.
Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
MEDITATIONS ON LIVING BY FAITH
(Living by Principles versus Living by the Faith of the Son of God)

We live in such a Pragmatic World. Get up, go to work, make money, eat, drink, and be merry….

And then the next day, the same, and the same, and the same. Solomon tried to break out of this by doing things, living life to the excess. But at the end, he still had the empty heart of man, of man without God’s filling!!

Tooth decay, you need a filling of mercury or new type enamel. Heart decay, you need a filling of the Holy Spirit!!

We all are born with decayed hearts--born in sin. So now that I have been reborn--born by the Spirit, Why do I not have the promised joy and peace when I got saved!! The old man lives on what he acquires, touches, tastes, sees, smells, and hears. The New Man-- the new creature in Christ lives BY FAITH!! By Nonsense (no senses)!!

This is a totally New Life!! The Life of God (Zoe in the Greek) is now to be my life, but it is only appropriated spiritually!! We live in an age of pragmatic and practical “Christian” living. I don’t know if we have many Pastors who are living in the Spirit of God. They seem focused on practical living principles to live as “better Christians”……

The Word of God says it directly: Be crucified in Christ!! No more practical principles of living… This is just religion. Religion got Israel nowhere. We now live in the New Covenant, better promises!! We can rest in Jesus, and let His Life, now be our life. Christ is our life!! But this Life is lived in the nonsense. It cannot be lived or ascertained by the five senses. The natural, carnal man cannot live in this new world. If you are having problems living in the Spirit, it is because: First: You are not saved. Second: You are saved but you still love yourself instead of dying to self and letting Jesus in You be your Life!! In my life, to get to the point of surrendering more and more into the Life of Jesus, I had to run the extent of living in the corruption of loving and serving myself!! It has brought me waves and waves of corruption. God didn’t bless my will, nor did He fill me with His Spirit for me to do “my will”. I have lived in this desert for about 10 years, but I now have Spiritual ears to hear!! Ears of faith, of utter surrender into whatever He has for me!! He is God, whatever plan, life, will He has is better, and I will accept it and enjoy it when I live by Faith and no more by sight!!

Rom 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

Rom 1:17 “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written. The just shall live by faith.”

This last sentence has the word “faith” in it three times!! When one is born again, no longer do we live here!!! Oh that we would teach this to others right at the start instead of teaching them how to live “practical pragmatic Christian lives” all in their own power. The wisdom of man permeated into the Church brings death. Only living by the Spirit in the Word of God, in the Life and faith of the Living Jesus, in His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, brings True Life!!

This is not that hard, but again, one must accept the necessary sentence of death of self!! This death of self is agreeing with Scripture, what it says about our righteousness: 

See Roman 3:10-18 and Isaiah 64:6.

Isa 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousness is as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

We have to believe Jesus that apart from Him, from His Life living in me, I can do nothing. But that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!! This is pretty awesome stuff!! The Life of God living in the soul and through the body of man!!

Ephesians Chapter 1 is God’s love letter to the called out ones (The Church). He is stating that He knew us and loved us in Jesus before the foundation of the world!!! Why is He telling us this? So we will walk and live by Faith, in the Spirit and Live in His Life!! This is radical, because we are so pulled by the flesh, it needs, its five senses craving more and more and being offended by the Nonsense of living by the Spirit.

But what can be better than having the Life of God be your/my Life???

We receive all the benefits of the Kingdom of God in the here in now in our heart of hearts:

Rom 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

And this Life is Eternal, forever and ever and ever. We in our soul/spirit now connected with His Spirit and will never die!! We just shed this old tent for an eternal body when we pass away from this earth into the full presence of God!!

I surmise that our greatest worship of God is here and now!! In heaven there will be no great struggle to offer the sacrifice of praise. But here, we have the old man lurking, that we have to be crucified from, we have the reproach of Christ on us as the world looks on us as fools. And we don’t see the living God with our senses, but only spiritually heart to heart. We have to live in Nonsense. 

But we receive all the Spiritual Blessings in heavenly places when we do walk and live by faith in the Spirit!!

Today I choose to start living in nonsense and by the Spirit!! From Faith to Faith!! I choose to no longer care what the world thinks of me. I care what God thinks of me!! I choose to let God’s life pour in and over me to be filled to be spilled. I will let my God provide the lesser things of this world like food, clothing and dollars, while I surrender into His life deeper and deeper. To be a living blessing to others and a walking trophy of His Grace on display to the world, so be it, caring only for God to be glorified, no matter what the world thinks!!

Heb 11:24 “By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

Heb 11:25 “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Heb 11:26 “Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

Heb 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible

We walk in the Nonsense of Faith, seeing Him in the Spirit, heart to heart, Him who is invisible, yet more real to us as we have Him as our substance and evidence, now no longer hoped for but Lived upon!!
